Dogs Love Water

As the weather gets warmer, my girls seem to love water more and more! So, Erik bought them a swimming pool, but so far we have been the only ones to actually get in it. I guess it will take some getting used to...

Da' Bees

Went to the Bees game yesterday afternoon. Perfect 80 degree day in the SLC... 1st row tickets too!

In 2 weeks we get to take the doggies to the ballpark, Dog Day Afternoon. Should be interesting, or maybe just a pain in the ass :)

Apparently I do have a green thumb after all. My tulips are blooming!

Pengiun Sacrafice Ritual

Erik spent the entire weekend battling a cute little robin who insists on building her nest above our garage. So, after many attempts to take down the nest and her coming coming back, only to build it bigger and better every time, we set out in search of a plastic owl to scare her away. Turns out that there are no plastic owls to be found in all of Heber City.

Fortunately, Brandi was kind enough to volunteer her stuffed penguin (the closest thing she had to an owl) to the cause..
Hopefully the robin hasn't picked apart the cute little penguin by the time we get home. That stuffing would add some extra cushion to her lovely little nest... The neighbors probably think we're crazy, but that's nothing new :)

It's Finally Golf Season

Took Dad golfing for his birthday. He might be old, but he still beat me... Only by 3.
(Between you and me, I had to let him win. It was his birthday after all ;)
